ENGIE Services has been providing technical and environmental management services for ČSOB in the new Zuckermandel multifunctional building in Bratislava since April 2017. This follows on from the mobilisation phase of the cooperation, which included engineering activities carried out prior to the commissioning of the building and started in June 2016.
The new modernized boiler house for burning wood chips Sever in Pezinok is already in trial operation. Termming, a member of the ENGIE Group, has already taken several measures in the past to modernise its heating system. Another of the planned investments was the reconstruction of the boiler house and the change of fuel to a renewable energy source – biomass.
The lower price of natural gas on the world exchange and the investments in the development of the ENGIE Group’s thermal power plants will be reflected in the price of heat for this year. Customers will thus pay less for the heat they consume while maintaining the same quality of energy supply.

ENGIE Services supports many sports projects in Slovakia. For several years it has been a partner of the basketball club INTER BRATISLAVA. In the last quarter of 2016, it decided to support the most successful women’s basketball club Good Angels Košice.
ENGIE Services has defended its position as a provider of technical property management services for KraussMaffei Technologies, with which it has been working since 2010. Through the new contract for an indefinite period of time, it will continue to provide comprehensive property management services for its manufacturing plant in Sučany.
On 1 September 2016, Termming, a.s., a member of the ENGIE Group, took over the thermal power plant in the village of Kanianka on a twenty-year lease. This is the 16th heat farm operated by the ENGIE Group in Slovakia.
ENGIE Services has been providing operation and maintenance of technical equipment at the Samsung campus in Voderady since August 2016. It has thus continued its previous successful eight-year cooperation in the field of sewage and storm water drainage.
Termming, a member of the ENGIE Group, will invest additional EUR 1.2 million in the modernisation of the heat management in Malacky. The aim of the new project is to install two high-efficiency cogeneration units for combined heat and power (CHP).
In June 2016, ENGIE Services in Slovakia participated for the first time in the ENGIE Group’s international project aimed at promoting innovation – ENGIE Innovation Week 2016. The aim of the Innovation Week events, which took place simultaneously in 22 countries around the world, was to present existing innovations, search for new ones, evaluate the submitted projects and create a space for communication and networking.
