Technical report for Polus City Center and Polus Tower 1 and 2

Interconnection of boiler houses in Kanianka stabilizes the price of heat

In September it was one year since Termming, a member of the ENGIE Group, took over the thermal management of the municipality of Kanianka. At that time, it had already committed itself to fulfilling the submitted investment plan for a total amount of approximately 400 thousand euros. The intention was to connect the two circuits of the heat distribution systems of the existing boiler houses and to reconstruct one of the machine rooms. The plans are now beginning to turn into reality.

ENGIE achieved guaranteed energy savings in Malacky

The project of modernisation, reconstruction and rationalisation of buildings and facilities in Malacky, implemented in 2015, using the Guaranteed Energy Service (GES) model was successful. The planned guaranteed energy savings of 28% were achieved and even exceeded while maintaining the comfort of the town’s inhabitants. In June 2017, Malacky was awarded the EFEKTIA award for the best energy efficiency project in the category of public buildings.

Completion of the installation of technologies at Klimkovičova in Košice

In August 2017, ENGIE Services successfully built and commissioned a new boiler house and delivered and installed the technology within the Klimkovičova II, Block B project. It is currently providing the same services for Block C, which is under construction. Thanks to the successful cooperation with the Titus development company, ENGIE has started work on the preparatory phase of the boiler room modernization in their next project, Borovicový háj in Košice.

In the framework of ENGIE ECO Schools 2017, we again supported 4 schools

ENGIE Services, as part of the ENGIE ECO Schools project, which was first implemented in 2015, supported 4 schools in Western Slovakia this year. Together with nearly a hundred pupils from selected fifth and sixth grades, as well as staff volunteers, they planted trees, shrubs and greenery in the schoolyards in April. In addition, the pupils took part in interactive lectures given by ENGIE Services employees and then visited local boiler houses to see the technologies used to generate heat.
