“Cost reduction, cheap and green energy, efficient operation… Attributes that are now part of almost every energy supplier’s or facilities […]
The ENGIE Group invests millions of euros every year in the modernisation of its heating systems, which is one of the reasons why it has continuously succeeded in improving the energy efficiency of heat production and distribution. Thanks to modernisation, we can ensure a reliable supply of energy for the inhabitants of the towns where we operate heat farms, while at the same time saving primary energy resources, which will translate into a reduction in the cost of heat production, while also having a positive impact on the environment.
ENGIE in Slovakia launched a pilot project to test the NODA system during the 2018/2019 heating season. This system was deployed in the thermal management in Pezinok. The aim of the project is to optimise heat production and distribution, optimise the fuel mix and reduce fuel and operating costs. Two heating seasons of operation have produced measurable positive results.
ENGIE* Group companies, which operate heating systems in several towns and villages in Slovakia, started the heating season today (28 September 2020).
Currently, CZT systems provide safe, reliable, environmentally friendly, economical and affordable heat production and supply in more than 335 towns and villages in Slovakia.
TERMMING, a member of the ENGIE Group, was awarded the project for the operation of the heat management system in the Bratislava – Nové Mesto district in June this year. Since 1 July, it has taken over the operation of all technological equipment. The ENGIE Group has committed to invest over EUR 4.5 million in the first five years of operation as part of the modernisation of the heat management system.
ENGIE launched a pilot project in Slovakia last year to test the NODA system. This system was deployed in the thermal management in Pezinok. The aim of the project is to optimise heat production and distribution, optimise the fuel mix and reduce fuel and operating costs. A few months of operation have brought the first measurable results in the form of fuel mix optimisation.
The billing invoice consists of an invoice (tax document) and an annex in which the costs are broken down (data on the customer’s consumption, the proportion of the house’s consumption in relation to the total consumption, a graphical representation, information on the heat meters).
As is the case every year, the ENGIE Group companies have carefully prepared a substantial package of funds for investments in the modernisation of their thermal power plants in 2018. Across Slovakia, this amount will reach more than EUR 6.5 million. Most of the investments are intended for the continuation of the implementation of projects already started, such as the reconstruction of distribution systems or the replacement of technologies and equipment.
In September it was one year since Termming, a member of the ENGIE Group, took over the thermal management of the municipality of Kanianka. At that time, it had already committed itself to fulfilling the submitted investment plan for a total amount of approximately 400 thousand euros. The intention was to connect the two circuits of the heat distribution systems of the existing boiler houses and to reconstruct one of the machine rooms. The plans are now beginning to turn into reality.
