In Veľké Kapušany we will start with the operation of the heat management

Termming, a.s., a subsidiary of the Cofely Group, will provide heat production and supply to the inhabitants of Veľké Kapušiany from 1 January 2016. It will thus replace the existing producer and supplier of heat – MIBYT, s.r.o., Veľké Kapušany.

In January 2016, the Cofely Group will launch the operation of its 15th thermal power plant in Slovakia. Termming would like to invest more than half a million euros in Veľké Kapušany over a period of five years. The investment will concern the replacement of the main heat distribution systems in the town. “Our priority goal is to ensure a long-term and high-quality heat supply for the inhabitants of Veľké Kapušiany. After analysing the current condition of the main distribution lines, we decided to invest in their replacement. Based on our several years of experience, their replacement will help to stabilize the quality of heat supply and reduce the failure rate within the distribution system,” says Martin Žigo, director of the energy production and distribution division at Cofely. Termming has been producing and distributing heat since 1996 in several Slovak cities. In Bratislava, it supplies heat to the Vrakuňa and Staré Mesto districts and also operates heat farms in Malacky, Pezinok, Stupava and Lehote pod Vtáčnikom. In Veľké Kapušany, Termming will operate 3 boiler houses, through which it will supply the inhabitants with heat in the volume of almost 55 thousand GJ per year.
