The Board of Directors appointed Catherine MacGregor as Executive Director of ENGIE. Her vision for ENGIE’s transformation and development, her international experience, as well as her leadership and management skills, will contribute to the achievement of the Group’s strategic objectives and direction.
The decision, which is effective from 1 January 2021, is the result of a selection process led by Jean-Pierre Clamadieu, Françoise Malrieu and members of the Appointments, Compensation and Governance Committee. The appointment of Catherine MacGregor as a member of the Group’s Board of Directors will be proposed for approval during the General Shareholders’ Meeting to be held in 2021. As part of her appointment, Catherine MacGregor declared: “I would like to thank the members of the ENGIE Board for the trust they have placed in me. I appreciate it, and at the same time I see it as a personal commitment. I am ready to leverage my knowledge and experience of working in the same segment and work with our teams to achieve ENGIE’s goal of accelerating transformation in the energy industry together.”
Catherine MacGregor
Catherine MacGregor, 48, is a graduate of the École Centrale Paris. She started her career at Schlumberger in 1995, where she worked for 23 years in several important international positions, such as Group-wide HR Director and Director of Strategic Activities. From 2013 to 2016, she served as President, Europe and Africa. A year later, she was promoted to President of the Drilling Business and was based in London. In the summer of 2019, she decided to pursue a career in the energy segment. She became a member of the TechnipFMC Group Executive Committee and personally led the onshore and offshore engineering and construction activities of Technip Energies.
