At ENGIE, we closed the 2025/2026 school year together with the young people who were part of our dual education and vocational training. This year also confirmed that systematic work with the young generation and linking theory with practice brings concrete results.
During the past school year , 16 students completed their dual education with us . Alongside this, we also carried out vocational training and several lectures at secondary schools in the regions where we operate. Thanks to this, students have the opportunity to gain a real insight into working in the energy industry and to gain practical experience directly in the field.
This collaboration has resulted in the continuation of young talent in our teams. Six students have accepted the job offer and remain part of ENGIE. Two other students will continue as temporary workers during the summer, further developing their skills and gaining experience.
This result is not just about one program. It is the result of a combination of dual education, vocational training and the active involvement of our colleagues who accompanied the students throughout the year. In particular, mentoring plays a key role – passing on experience and gradually engaging young people in real work.
At a time when the labour market is facing a long-term shortage of technical professions, we see this approach as an important part of building stable and skilled teams.
However, the end of the school year does not mean the end for us – on the contrary, it is a natural continuation of our long-term work with young talents. We are already preparing for the next year, in which we want to continue and further develop this cooperation.
