On 28 February 2019, the international ENGIE Group presented its strategic goals for the next 3 years. Its main ambition is to be a world leader in energy transformation with the goal of achieving zero emissions.
Last year ENGIE became part of the pilot programme for youth training “SUSTAINABILITY AMBASSADORS”, organised by the Slovak Green Building Council (SKGBC). The two-year project, which involved more than 120 students from 4 schools in Bratislava, was launched by the organiser at the beginning of the 2018/2019 school year. The aim of the programme is to work systematically with secondary school students and prepare them for their future careers through theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of sustainable development.
Aligning individual and societal interests leads to harmonious progress around the world – an idea ENGIE believes in and a commitment it strives to fulfil. In the spirit of this idea, the company launched the ENGIE Harmony Project worldwide this spring. The concept is based mainly on a communication campaign that presents real projects of progressive collaboration between ENGIE teams and its partners. These include start-ups, local actors or artists, i.e. all those who share a common desire to act in favour of harmonious progress.
The ENGIE Harmony Project illustrates in a very concrete and modern way ENGIE’s work for harmonious progress, in particular by reconciling the interests of individuals with the general interest of the society in which they live. ENGIE is one of the global brands that has a responsibility to design and implement the development not only of its own company, but also of the society in which it operates. To achieve these goals, we must combine the strengths of our teams with an equally strong and committed approach from all civil society actors.
