Since the beginning of this year ENGIE Services has been successfully cooperating with Squarebizz Slovakia Nitra, for which it provides comprehensive Facility Management services. The subject of cooperation is the management of Squarebizz Business Center in Nitra, which is one of the most modern sales, warehouse and commercial premises in Slovakia.

Squarebizz Business Center Nitra is a project of state-of-the-art sales, warehouse and commercial premises with a total area of 9,700 m² and a capacity of up to 1,700 m² of offices in two separate halls. Tenants have a choice between a glass-fronted showroom or a classic enclosed warehouse, or a combination of both. Squarebizz Business Center Nitra’s retail and warehouse space offers maximum variability and flexibility in the most environmentally friendly and energy-efficient space in this segment on the market.
Comprehensive Facility Management Services
As part of its comprehensive services, ENGIE Services has been providing Squarebizz since January this year with the standard management of technical facilities, as well as green roof maintenance, waste management, environmental management, and 24/7 online dispatching for fault reporting.
How is this project different for ENGIE?
“I think in several aspects. I am very positive about the opportunity to start the administration already at the time of the building’s approval in December 2023. We know all the project documentation and we have been with our team at the handover and functional tests of all the technical equipment in the building. You could say that we took them over from the suppliers. This allowed us to set up the processes and the system of their operation ourselves,” explains Jozef Ťažký, ENGIE Services Project Manager.
Apart from the possibility to be present at the commissioning of Squarebizz Business Center Nitra, another specific feature of the project is the use of modern technologies and technical equipment with a positive impact on the environment.
“I am very appreciative of Squarebizz’s efforts to achieve high standards in terms of the use of renewable energy in operations and to support decarbonisation. This is evidenced not only by the state-of-the-art facilities, but also by the materials used for the construction and, not least, the green roofs on the buildings, which are designed to improve their thermal insulation properties. In addition, I can also mention the exemplary waste separation, the use of e-chargers for cars, the water-retention measures and the rainwater harvesting. We are delighted to have the opportunity to once again work on a green project with a client that shares our DNA in terms of environmental protection and support for decarbonisation,” concludes Jozef Ťažký.
