Energy
Project: design and engineering work – cogeneration units of the ENGIE Group
Year of project development: 2024
Project Objective:
Increase the efficiency of electricity production and optimise the use of heat from the cogeneration process.
Scope of Services:
- Design and design work, engineering
- Coordination of all professions ensuring the smooth running of the project
2 CHP units / 2 x 300 kW / Municipal heating plant in Malacky
The project was aimed at increasing the output of the cogeneration unit (CHP) in the municipal heating plant in Malacky. Instead of the original KGU with an electrical output of 500 kW, 2 smaller KGUs with an output of 2 x 300 kW were installed. This optimization contributed to an increase in electricity production while efficiently using heat.
Cogeneration unit / 246 kw / Boiler house Pezinok Juh
The aim of the project is to further increase the share of energy produced in CHP (combined heat and power) plants. The installation is carried out in the boiler house Pezinok Juh, where in addition to the KGJ with an electrical output of 246 kW, a pellet boiler with a thermal output of 290 kW will be added as a renewable source. The project was submitted for building permit in December 2024 and will be implemented during 2025.
