On 16 May 2025, we handed over a specially adapted photovoltaic panel to the students of the Secondary Vocational School on Kukucinova Street in Košice, which will serve them as a modern teaching aid.
During the ceremony, the basic functions of the panel were presented to the other classmates by one of the students, who is doing a work experience at ENGIE Services. Thanks to this teaching aid, the students will be able to test their theoretical knowledge in practice and actually try out the operation of this equipment.
The photovoltaic panelwas donated to the Secondary School of Education in Košice as part of our long-term project ENGIE Eco Schools, which aims to educate the young generation in the field of environmentalism and sustainable energy, as well as to practically apply theoretical knowledge.
ENGIE Services supports decarbonisation and the active use of renewable energy in Slovakia… That is why we see this cooperation with schools as an important step – because the future of the energy sector will depend mainly on well-prepared professionals.
