ENGIE, according to the latest Market Outlook report from BlombergNEF, is valued as a top developer, selling clean energy under PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) projects. ENGIE has successfully ranked in the top three developers since 2019.
This result confirms our direction and strategy to accelerate the energy transformation. It also reflects our commitment to delivering green energy solutions to our clients.
In 2023, we have signed 19 contracts in 5 countries with an installed capacity of more than 1 GW, bringing our total portfolio of PPA projects to 7.3 GW.
This year, we also closed the first PPA project in Slovakia for a 3.5 MWp photovoltaic power plant to be located on the roof of a client in the automotive sector. In addition to the design and implementation, ENGIE in Slovakia will supply the client with green electricity during the long-term contract. The project is currently under construction and is expected to be commissioned next spring.
