Energy
At the end of 2014, ENGIE Services successfully handed over an EPC project in Malacky, the aim of which was to design and implement measures to reduce the energy consumption of thermal-technical equipment and buildings in the administration and property of the town – a sports hall, a municipal centre of social services and a cinema. ENGIE Services used state-of-the-art construction technologies in the design and renovation process, with an emphasis on long-term durability, efficient and reliable operation of individual facilities and buildings to achieve the highest possible energy savings. Once the energy saving measures have been successfully implemented and the operating regime has been set up, the period of guaranteeing the savings achieved will begin. The investment and all related costs of the energy saving measures will be gradually repaid from the savings achieved in operating energy costs. ENGIE Services is committed to achieving annual savings of 28% for the first 10 years. During the duration of the contractual relationship, it will oversee the operation of the building energy system and evaluate energy consumption to ensure that the guaranteed savings are achieved.
