Processing of personal data when accessing and using the ENGIE Recruitment portal

Please read the following information on how we process your personal data.

Who is the data controller of your personal data?

The controller of your personal data is ENGIE Services and the other companies of the ENGIE Group, as set out in the Annex.
The controller has appointed a Data Controller responsible for the supervision of the processing of personal data, who can be contacted by email at: zodpovednaosoba.sk@engie.com.

Processing on the basis of contract and pre-contractual relations:

In connection with the offer of services, goods and activities on our website, in mass media or personal meetings, we process the personal data of contact persons – employees of legal or natural persons who have expressed interest in cooperation and provided us with their contact data, without consent, on the basis of a contractual and pre-contractual relationship.

In connection with the management of residential and non-residential premises, we process personal data without consent, on the basis of a contractual relationship or individual law.

The personal data obtained by filling in the contact form on our website is for the purpose of pre-contractual relations (e.g. request for a quotation, request for further specification of the services provided, product information) and we are entitled to process it also without consent.

Retrieved fromprocessing based on consent

We can only process the personal data of a job seeker in the scope of a CV or in the scope of a personal profile of a job seeker sent by email for the purpose of inclusion in the electronic database of job seekers on the basis of his/her voluntary consent. We obtain consent directly from the data subject (job seeker) or from third parties (Profesia).

The free company newsletter, through which we inform our clients about our news (direct marketing), is only sent to them with their voluntary consent.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link directly in the newsletter (disclaimer) or by sending a request by e-mail: zodpovednaosoba.sk@engie.com.

What entities have access to your personal data?

We use the services of external suppliers who may process personal data. Intermediaries include companies providing freight forwarding, payroll processing, accounting, health and safety and fire protection services, companies providing training and education to our employees, application providers and IT service providers and contractors who conduct business on our behalf. For all suppliers, we ensure that they comply with applicable laws, are bound by confidentiality and process your data only within the scope of the contracts entered into and protect it adequately in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR, international standards and applicable regulations.

How long will we keep your personal data?

We will keep your personal data for the duration of the contract and for the statutory period for archiving, the period necessary to prove legal claims or the period necessary to achieve the purpose.

Personal data obtained by filling in the contact form for the purpose of pre-contractual relations and the sent CV are processed exclusively for 1 year, if no contract is concluded, the data will be deleted from the system.

We are entitled to process the personal data obtained with your consent (to subscribe to the newsletter, to provide you with a photograph) for this purpose until your consent is withdrawn.

What rights do you have in relation to the processing of your personal data?

Right of access to personal data

You have the right to ask us to confirm that we are processing your personal data.

Right to rectification of personal data:

You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.

Right to erasure (oblivion):

We are obliged to delete your personal data without undue delay if:

• the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed,
• you withdraw the consent on the basis of which the processing is carried out,
• if there is no other legal basis for the processing of personal data,
• if you object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for processing,
• you object to the processing and the personal data have been unlawfully processed,
• personal data must be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation,
• personal data was collected in connection with the offer of information society services.

The erasure request shall not be invoked by the controller as long as the processing is necessary:

• to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information,
• to fulfil a legal obligation,
• for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest,
• for reasons of public interest in the field of public health,
• for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research or statistical purposes,
• to prove, exercise or defend legal claims.

Right to restriction of processing of personal data

You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data in one of the following cases:

• if you challenge the accuracy of the personal data, we will restrict processing until we have verified its accuracy,
• if we process your personal data unlawfully and you object to the erasure of your personal data and request instead that we restrict its use,
• we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims,
• if you object to the processing of your personal data, we will restrict the processing of your personal data until we have verified that our legitimate interests outweigh your reasons.

Where processing has been restricted, such personal data shall be processed except for retention:

• only with your consent,
• to prove, exercise or defend legal claims,
• to protect the rights of another natural or legal person,
• for reasons of important public interest.

Right to the transfer of personal data

You have the right to obtain your personal data that you have provided to us and you have the right to transfer this data to another controller (e.g. when you change the provider of a particular service). We are obliged to provide your personal data to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (e.g. XML or CSV) upon your request.

Who can you contact regarding the processing of your personal data?

Our company has appointed a responsible person.
