Both projects are part of the renovation of existing boiler rooms. We are replacing older technologies with new solutions that better meet current requirements for performance, flexibility, and operation.  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the benefits of installing cogeneration units?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cogeneration units produce both electricity and heat simultaneously from a single source. Energy that would otherwise go unused in conventional production is utilized directly in our system. The result is greater efficiency without the need for additional inputs.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/engie.sk\/en\/heat-and-cold-production-for-cities\/\">Generating energy<\/a> directly at the point of consumption means less dependence on external inputs and more stable operation of the equipment. Operations are more predictable and easier to manage in real time.   <strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lower operating costs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition, cogeneration gives us better control over operating costs. Such solutions are becoming increasingly important, especially in an environment of fluctuating energy prices and growing demands for operational efficiency.   <strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Environmental Benefits of the Solution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More efficient use of fuel means lower energy consumption for the same output, and thus lower emissions. Cogeneration reduces the amount of energy that needs to be generated and supplied from external sources, thereby reducing the overall environmental impact of operations. <\/p>\n<p>The project on Stavb\u00e1rska Street also includes a photovoltaic power plant (56 kW), which supplements energy production with a renewable energy source directly at the point of consumption.<\/p>\n<p><u>Key Data on Cogeneration Unit Installation Projects<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Boiler Room \/ Bratislava \u2013 Stavb\u00e1rska<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>KGJ Capacity: <strong>349 kWe \/ 443 kWt<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Commissioning: <strong>2025<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Biomass Boiler Plant \/ Malacky \u2013 Brnianska<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>KGJ Capacity: <strong>616 kWe \/ 730 kWt<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Commissioning: <strong>March 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u201cToday, sustainable energy must make sense not only from an environmental perspective but also from an operational cost standpoint.
