The ENGIE Group starts operation of the district heating network in the Bratislava city district - Nove MestoIn June 2019, TERMMING, an affiliate of the ENGIE Group, won the project of the district heating network management in the Bratislava city district - Nove Mesto. On the 1st of July, the company took over operation of all technical equipment and heating systems. ENGIE will invest more than 4.5 million € in the modernization of the district heating management system in the first 5 years.
Inauguration of a new ENGIE transformation station 110/22 kV in Velka Ida, SlovakiaOn 27th June 2018, ENGIE Services officially opened the newly built transformation station 110/22 kV, which will distribute electricity to companies located in the Logistics and Industrial Park at Veľká Ida from this July. ENGIE financed the project with a total value of 2.7 mil. eur from its own financial resources, which allowed investors to use their own capital for further development of their core business . Other business partners, with whom is ENGIE currently negotiating, have already shown their interest in this successful model of financing, developing, constructing and operating a transformation station.
ENGIE Services in Slovakia is extending its cooperation with IMMOFINANZ to the project STOP SHOP.This year ENGIE Services continues in cooperation with IMMOFINANZ Services SR by providing technical and infrastructure management and maintenance for 10 STOP SHOP retail parks at various locations in Slovakia. The cooperation will continue until 2020.
Technical facility management and maintenance services for Polus City Center and Polus Towers in SlovakiaOn 1st November 2017 ENGIE Services became the facilities management service provider for the shopping centre Polus City Center and two administrative buildings, Polus Tower 1 and Polus Tower 2. The contract covering technical facility management and maintenance of the buildings has been signed for 3 years.
The town of Malacky in Slovakia won EFEKTIA 2017 prize for the best energy efficiency project in the category of public buildingsIn 2015 ENGIE successfully realized modernization project in Malacky, using Energy Performance contracting (EPC) model. The guaranteed energy savings of 28% have been achieved as planned and even exceeded. In June 2017 Malacky won the EFEKTIA prize for the best energy efficiency project in the category of public buildings.
